We are proud to be share with you our first OFSTED report as an academy and in 12 years!
The school has gone through a significant period of change over this time, and more so over the past 4 years. We are particularly proud that our approach to always putting children at the heart of all we do, has been recognised and praised.
As a Trust, we are really pleased with our grading of ‘Good.’ What is clear from the report, is that the school has been successful in its vision of ‘Learn to Love; Love to Learn and Learn for Life’. Throughout all the changes we have focused on ensuring that we implement our vision so that all our children can flourish. Examples of how this can be seen in our practice can be found throughout the report. Here are a few we are particularly pleased with.
Learn to Love
‘Shining through many conversations was the older pupils’ commitment to helping younger children.’ ‘They show respect and kindness to each other’
Love to Learn
‘Pupils are proud to follow ‘the Colwich way’ of being kind, respectful and ready to learn.’
‘Children make good use of learning opportunities to develop and grow.’

‘The school is ambitious for pupils to achieve well and to become caring citizens. These ambitions are realised.’
