At Colwich CE Primary School, the intent of our in Modern Foreign Language Curriculum, is to develop an interest in and thirst for learning other languages. We aim to introduce the learning of the French language and the understanding of its culture in enjoyable and stimulating ways. We plan to teach a progressive curriculum in Key Stage 2, and we value the importance of children developing an understanding of the world around them through learning a second language which will foster pupils’ curiosity.
